Sairat – A Symphony of fine art!!

66 musicians, 45 string sections, 6 piece woodwinds, 3 Trumpets, 3 Trombone, 1 Tuba, 3 piece horn section, 1 Harp in legendary sony scoring stage and Los Angeles… All these together produce  one song called ‘Yad-Lagla’!!!
If you are still wondering which song is that, it’s high time now, you gotta hear the music album of the film SAIRAT. Yes!! It’s the same Marathi film which is in the buzz for past few months. Thousand people pick thousand different reasons for the success of this film but according to me it’s ‘screenplay’ by the director Nagraj Manjule and ‘music’ by the legendary composers ‘Ajay-Atul’. They are the same composers who made us discover ourselves by giving a song like ‘Abhi mujh mein kahin’, which is also regarded as the finest song of ‘Sonu Nigam’.

Talking about the music of the film Sairat, it consists of four songs.

A Ride To Mallalli Falls

The wind through your hair, the rustle of trees and the endless roads are the things which can only be experienced.
The sleepless nights before the journey, servicing your vehicle, charging your camera, finding country roads hoping you would get lost in the wilderness.
Me and my pal started the journey at around 5 am in the morning and what stood ahead of us was 150 km of sheer excitement.
Most of them ride on a bullet for a road trip , but all we had was Suzuki Access 125 … Oh yeah it’s a moped, it’s been with us in all the three road trips comprised 1500 km.
We started riding through narrow yet beautiful roads. My friend on the other hand was busy clicking pictures. Finally there I was , lost completely in the beauty that my state(Karnataka) offered me.
We rode for 4 to 5 hours to reach our destination ,the spectacular Mallalli falls in Somwarpet. After reaching there, we found out we had to walk for 6 km and trek another kilometer. It was just numbers for me as I was eagerly waiting to see what I came to see.
We brought some salt in the local shop as it’s a leech repellant. The localities warned us to be careful as last night two boys from bengaluru were swept away for half a mile down the falls.
As we started walking through the lands painted green , we heard streams gushing, birds chirping and that’s when my friend started to worry that we have not yet seen a single person and the road just never seemed to end. Continue reading A Ride To Mallalli Falls

Pokemon Go – Spreads over the gaming world like a wildfire!!

Omfg something huge just happened in the gaming world. May be a new era of smartphone gaming , though this concept was old it made a huge appearance now.
Yes it’s on our iOS and Android devices!!!

Being an Indian in our point of view I can say those days may be over for a typical Indian smartphone gamer who addictively plays clash of clans or mini militia.

Why? Because there’s something you once wished is coming true.

What is it? Why is it that people are excited?

Because It’s Pokémon!!

Yes we know that Pokémon was once a big part of childhood and for us it wasn’t just restricted in Television.
Yes we 90’s kids were growing up playing those Pokémon video games on their gameboy app and we did battle out Pokémon cards during lunch breaks at school.

So what did Pokémon contribute to the gaming world?

Through the latest Pokémon Go a new mobile game which is based on augmented reality. It’s wildly popular and it’s already top app in iTunes store US.

What is Augmented reality?

Augmented reality is a connection between the real world and virtual world.Basically Pokémon Go is Google Maps if you added Pokémon to it. So it takes our real-life world and adds a fictional layer to it by using your phone’s GPS. In the game, you collect Pokémon and go to “PokéStops” to pick up items that will help you capture more Pokémon.

Where is it available?

It’s not yet available on play store in India but you can download the apk file which you can get by simply googling it out.

Though it’s illegal and they might ban your account , nobody gives a shit.

How is the gameplay?

Players literally have to walk in the real world to move their avatar in the game.(ik it’s a secret ultimate fitness app too 😉 )

Features on the map may include a number of Pokéstops and Pokémon gyms. These are typically located at popular meeting places, such as memorials, places of worship, parks and tourist attractions.

Unlike other installments in the Pokémon series, players in Pokémon Go do not battle wild Pokémon to capture them. Rather, the game relies on a unique capture system where the player must throw a pokéball with the right force and at the right time to make a successful catch. After capturing a wild Pokémon the player is awarded two types of in-game currencies: candies and stardust. The candies awarded by a successful catch depends on what evolutionary chain a Pokémon belongs to. A player can use stardust and candies to raise a Pokémon’s”combat power” (CP). However, only candies are needed to evolve a Pokémon.

Player vs Player battles will be released in the next patches , because they already showed that in their trailer. That would make the game complete , add more competition among the players which will get you even more addicted.

While playing the game make sure you are aware of your surroundings.

So I don’t wanna spoil your game by telling you how Pokestops and Pokegyms work. Pokemon Go isn’t just about catching all the Pokemon only because of them , but one thing for sure they’ll eventually add more stuffs into this and make the Go world huge.

Now go out there in the real world and just catch em’ all.
